GAC AION sells 28,113 vehicles in April 2024

On May 1, GAC AION unveiled its April sales figures. The company reported a global sales volume of 28,113 vehicles, a dip from the previous month's 32,530 units.

Shanghai (Gasgoo)- On May 1, GAC AION, the new energy vehicle arm of GAC Group, unveiled its April sales figures. The company reported a global sales volume of 28,113 vehicles, a dip from the previous month's 32,530 units.

Meanwhile, GAC AION announced that the AION V and the 2024 edition of the Hyper HT models have successively arrived at the automaker's offline stores.

At the Auto China 2024, GAC AION debuted the second-generation AION V, a fresh all-electric SUV built on the AEP (AION Electric Platform), featuring new design philosophies and enhanced intelligent driving features. With dimensions measuring 4,605mm in length and a wheelbase of 2,775mm, the AION V boasts a 750km range and is equipped with a proprietary second-generation ITS2.0 intelligent temperature control system, capable of a 370km range with a 15-minute charging session.

Furthermore, the all-new Hyper HT debuted at the Auto China 2024, offering five variants priced between 213,900 yuan and 329,900 yuan.

Equipped with 800V technology, the 2024 Hyper HT can run 425km on a 15-minute charging session. The model comes with range options of 550km, 670km, and 825km. Its motors deliver a combined maximum power output of 180kW/250kW, with a peak torque of 355N·m/430N·m.

Also, the new models will come with LiDAR systems, and urban NOA (navigate on autopilot) functions, which will be available nationwide by September.
