As of the end of the first quarter of 2024, the cumulative installed capacity of newly commissioned energy storage projects in the country has reached 35.3GW/77.68GWh.

As of the end of the first quarter of 2024, the cumulative installed capacity of newly commissioned energy storage projects in the country has reached 35.3GW/77.68GWh. New energy storage power stations are gradually showing a trend towards centralized and large-scale development, with projects with a capacity of 100MW and above accounting for 54.8% of the installed capacity. The average energy storage duration of new energy storage projects in the country is 2.2 hours, with projects with a duration of 2-4 hours accounting for 74.6% of the installed capacity.
