Recently, the construction of the Rare and Precious Metals Plant of the relocation project of Southwest Copper Industry has reached an important milestone of transition from civil engineering to equipment installation. The 80-meter chimney for desulfurization and denitrification has been successfully assembled and installed, achieving the expected target. This chimney is an important component of the environmental collection and desulfurization system of the Rare and Precious Metals Plant. In the production process, it absorbs sulfur dioxide and other harmful gases in the flue gas through the absorbent, converting them into harmless substances such as sulfates. This effectively reduces the emission of sulfur dioxide and other waste gases, greatly reducing the impact on the environment during the production process and meeting the environmental protection requirements.
