Shanghai (Gasgoo)- On April 25, at the Auto China 2024 in Beijing, Chinese new energy vehicle maker NETA Auto announced it would deepen its strategic cooperation with SenseAuto, the intelligent automotive application platform under SenseTime, ushering in a new chapter of collaboration.

To be specific, SenseAuto will support the intelligence development of NETA Auto with its robust computing power and specialized automotive AI large models, pushing the boundaries in intelligent driving technology and creating innovative smart mobility experiences through multi-modal scenario brains.

This partnership between NETA Auto and SenseAuto began in 2021 and has now entered a new phase with updated strategic goals. This expansion signifies a deeper commitment to advancing next-generation intelligent driving and smart cockpit technologies.

Under the strategic agreement, the partners will jointly develop sophisticated intelligent driving solutions leveraging the native large model capabilities of SenseAuto, aiming for rapid commercial deployment. NETA Auto plans to launch its proprietary urban navigation intelligent driving solution, integrated with the BEV (Bird's Eye View) technology, in the second half of 2024, utilizing its robust R&D capabilities and deep product insights while preparing for future advanced technologies.

Additionally, NETA Auto and SenseAuro will also collaborate in the field of computing power. SenseAuto will utilize SenseTime's AIDC (AI data center)-enhanced large devices to provide NETA Auto with a powerful computational foundation for the AGI era. Currently, SenseTime's large devices boast a total computing capacity of 12,000 petaFLOPS, representing the most advanced infrastructure for training large models in China.

Moreover, NETA Auto and SenseAuto are actively exploring mass-production collaborations in areas such as multi-modal intelligent interaction and advanced large model technologies like AIGC (AI-generated content).

World's First Mass-Produced Sodium-Ion Battery Passenger Vehicle Officially Unveiled
On February 5, Changan Automobile unveiled its global sodium-ion battery strategy, and the world's first mass-produced sodium-ion battery passenger vehicle was officially introduced. Test data shows that the vehicle equipped with CATL's sodium-ion battery delivers nearly three times the discharge power compared to conventional lithium iron phosphate vehicles with the same battery capacity under -30°C conditions. In extreme cold environments of -40°C, it maintains over 90% capacity retention, and it can still discharge stably even at the extreme low temperature of -50°C.
