【The United States Filed a New Application for Double Anti-tariff on Southeast Asian Battery Components!】On April 24th, the Coalition for American Solar Manufacturing (CASM) submitted a series of anti-dumping and anti-circumvention petitions to the U.S. International Trade Commission (USITC) and the U.S. Department of Commerce to investigate illegal trade practices by Cambodia, Malaysia, Thailand, and Vietnam that may harm the U.S. solar industry. The companies under investigation will mainly be Chinese solar companies. The new petitions involve crystalline silicon photovoltaic cells from Cambodia, Malaysia, Thailand, and Vietnam, whether or not they are assembled into modules.
