Spot quotes in Shanghai zinc market were firm

Mainstream traded prices of #0 zinc were 22250~22390 yuan/mt today, with 22360~22480 yuan/mt for Shuangyan zinc, and 22180~22320 yuan/mt for #1 zinc.

Mainstream traded prices of #0 zinc were 22250~22390 yuan/mt today, with 22360~22480 yuan/mt for Shuangyan zinc, and 22180~22320 yuan/mt for #1 zinc. Spot discounts were 0~5 yuan/mt over the average SMM zinc price. During the second trading session, regular domestic brands were quoted with discounts of 90~110 yuan/mt over the SHFE 2405 zinc contract. Shuangyan zinc was quoted with discounts of 0 yuan/mt over the contract. Zinc prices remained rangebound today. Traders shipped less cargoes, and purchases were brisk, keeping spot quotes firm.
