【SK Hynix: Development of 12-layer Stacked HBM3E Expected to Be Completed in the Third Quarter, and Overall Memory Supply May Face Shortages in the Second Half of the Year】

SK Hynix stated that the development of 12-layer stacked (12Hi) HBM3E memory is expected to be completed in the third quarter, and the overall memory supply may face shortages in the second half of the year. This year, customers are mainly focused on 8Hi HBM3E memory, and SK Hynix will prepare for the full growth of customer demand for 12Hi HBM3E next year. SK Hynix predicts that if the recovery of demand for PCs and smartphones in the second half of the year depletes existing inventories, the memory market will face tension. (Jinshi Data)
