Black Sesame Technologies, Tencent Cloud to promote cooperation on building intelligent driving chip ecosystem

On April 24, Black Sesame Technologies (“Black Sesame”) and Tencent Cloud Computing (Beijing) Co., Ltd (“Tencent Cloud”) inked a strategic cooperation agreement.

Shanghai (Gasgoo)- On April 24, Black Sesame Technologies (“Black Sesame”) and Tencent Cloud Computing (Beijing) Co., Ltd (“Tencent Cloud”) inked a strategic cooperation agreement, under which the two companies will jointly develop cost-effective solutions for intelligent driving system through approaches integrating software and hardware, and promote the development of autonomous driving chips on both the vehicle and cloud fronts.

This collaboration will leverage Black Sesame’s cross-domain integrated high-performance central computing chip platform and Tencent Cloud's infrastructures and tool systems to develop intelligent driving system solutions. 

On one hand, the two parties will make efforts in areas such as cloud-based simulation design, process updating of chip R&D DevOps , and chip firmware encryption, strengthening cooperation in the autonomous driving chip ecosystem at cloud and vehicle ends. 

On the other hand, they will tap into Tencent Cloud's leading capabilities in cloud, big data, simulation, and AI to jointly develop an efficient data-driven and continuously updating cloud platform for autonomous driving research, testing, and operation, while also establishing a secure and compliant system.

Furthermore, both parties will extend their cooperation to other fields like intelligent cockpit, intelligent driving maps, data security, and digital collaborative office solutions.
