Beijing (Gasgoo)- On April 23, the high-end pure electric high-performance car brand Polestar unveiled its first in-house-designed AI flagship smartphone, the Polestar Phone, priced at 7,388 yuan.

Through the Polestar Link car-to-phone connective system, it offers users a seamless cross-device intelligent ecosystem experience.

The integration of Polestar cars and Polestar phones represents a dual connection between smart cars and smartphones. To further enhance the user experience, Polestar officially launched the Polestar 4 Double Star Connectivity Edition (“Shuangxing Hulian” Edition in Chinese pinyin). It comes in two trim levels, the Single-Motor Standard Range Plus starting at 339,900 yuan, and the Dual-Motor Long Range Plus starting at 399,900 yuan, both of which include a complementary Polestar Phone for a limited time.

The Polestar Phone, a masterpiece of the Polestar ecosystem, upholds Polestar's high-end brand positioning. Designed jointly by Polestar's automotive design team in Gothenburg, Sweden, and Chinese smartphone maker Meizu's design team, it draws inspiration from Polestar cars, presenting a rich Scandinavian-style minimalist luxury appearance.

Regarding hardware, the Polestar Phone features Qualcomm’s third-generation Snapdragon 8 mobile platform with a 4nm process, combining AI capabilities and powerful performance. Equipped with LPDDR5X and UFS4.0 storage, it offers robust performance.

The Polestar Phone integrates mainstream AI large models and, with flagship hardware support, allows AI functions to utilize the phone's performance. Based on the All in One Polestar OS concept, through the Polestar Link connective system, it achieves seamless connection, seamless relay, hardware collaboration, and shared computing power between the phone and the car, maintaining a fluent experience across the ecosystem.

World's First Mass-Produced Sodium-Ion Battery Passenger Vehicle Officially Unveiled
On February 5, Changan Automobile unveiled its global sodium-ion battery strategy, and the world's first mass-produced sodium-ion battery passenger vehicle was officially introduced. Test data shows that the vehicle equipped with CATL's sodium-ion battery delivers nearly three times the discharge power compared to conventional lithium iron phosphate vehicles with the same battery capacity under -30°C conditions. In extreme cold environments of -40°C, it maintains over 90% capacity retention, and it can still discharge stably even at the extreme low temperature of -50°C.
