Beijing (Gasgoo)- On April 23, the all-new AITO M5, the premium new energy SUV jointly developed by Huawei and SERES, officially hit the market with a starting price of 249,800 yuan.

The all-new AITO M5 offers three variants, including the Extended-Range Max Edition (rear-wheel drive) priced at 249,800 yuan; the All-Electric Max Edition (rear-wheel drive) priced at 269,800 yuan; and the Extended-Range Max RS Edition (four-wheel drive) priced at 279,800 yuan, with mass deliveries scheduled to begin on May 15.

In terms of appearance, the most significant change in the new AITO M5 is the adoption of a unified front face design, with the previously large intake grille on the extended-range version removed, aligning it with the pure electric version.

Furthermore, all variants of the new AITO M5 are equipped with Huawei's ADS 2.0 advanced intelligent driving system as standard, allowing users to experience Huawei's robust intelligent driving technology across the lineup.

On April 17, pre-sales for the new AITO M5 kicked off. Later that evening, within just 12 hours of pre-sales, the cumulative orders for the new AITO M5 had already exceeded 10,000 units.

World's First Mass-Produced Sodium-Ion Battery Passenger Vehicle Officially Unveiled
On February 5, Changan Automobile unveiled its global sodium-ion battery strategy, and the world's first mass-produced sodium-ion battery passenger vehicle was officially introduced. Test data shows that the vehicle equipped with CATL's sodium-ion battery delivers nearly three times the discharge power compared to conventional lithium iron phosphate vehicles with the same battery capacity under -30°C conditions. In extreme cold environments of -40°C, it maintains over 90% capacity retention, and it can still discharge stably even at the extreme low temperature of -50°C.
