Shanghai (Gasgoo)- On April 22, the JETOUR T2 officially hit the market on April 22 as a new compact plug-in hybrid electric SUV under Chery's JETOUR brand. The vehicle comes in three variants, with prices ranging from 179,900 yuan to 209,900 yuan.
As for exterior design, the steel body of JETOUR T2 ensures safety and durability to handle the most challenging terrains, and the rugged design showcases a tough and adventurous SUV style with bold lines.The roof rails on the top of the SUV enhance the T2's versatility by adding a touch of style while providing practical solutions for carrying additional gear or accessories.
Additionally, in the rear end of the T2, there is a magic electric door which opens and closes with little effort, eliminating the need for conventional 'locking' systems, and the expandable feature tailgate design provides the users with more cargo space and easier access to the storage compartment.
The JETOUR T2 measures 4,785mm in length, 2,006mm in width and 1,875mm in height, with a wheelbase of 2,880mm. The 129km version is equipped with 255/60 R19 tires, while the 208km version comes with 255/55 R20 tires.
Also, the 39° approach, 25° ramp, and 30° departure angles can help the drivers cope with difficult terrain conditions. The model's 4-cylinder 2.0-liter turbocharged engine delivers a powerful 390 Nm of torque through a 7-speed DCT (dual-clutch transmission), ensuring a smooth and efficient drive.
