Beijing (Gasgoo)- Leading autonomous driving technology company, Momenta, in collaboration with global automotive technology innovator Qualcomm, announced on April 22 the launch of a range of scalable intelligent driving solutions for advanced driver assistance systems (ADAS) and autonomous driving (AD) functionalities.

As part of their collaboration, the new scalable automotive products utilize Momenta's "One flywheel" core technology-driven algorithm architecture, built for full-process data-driven insights, along with the latest-generation Snapdragon Ride platform (SA8620 and SA8650P) with scalable, high-efficiency architecture. This enables advanced ADAS and autonomous driving functionalities, supporting various scenarios including highway navigation pilot (HNP) to urban navigation pilot (UNP).

The new automotive products deliver powerful dense computing performance ranging from 36TOPS to 100TOPS, achieving superior system performance compared to double sparse computing power. They support intelligent driving functionalities, including ADAS and autonomous driving, across a wide range of vehicle models, including mainstream new energy vehicles and traditional oil-fueled vehicles.

This new solution is one of the world's first intelligent driving products built on the latest Snapdragon Ride platform, providing advanced features for global automakers. It is expected to be deployed in production models later this year.

Furthermore, this intelligent driving solution aims to drive wider adoption across the industry by reducing the hardware system BOM costs for automakers, accelerating the integration of intelligent driving technology into vehicles.

As part of the collaboration, Momenta and Qualcomm will continue to explore the development of more solutions based on the latest Snapdragon Ride platform and Snapdragon Ride Flex SoC (SA8775P), aiming to build an advanced intelligent driving solutions that integrates cabin-driving fusion functionalities.

World's First Mass-Produced Sodium-Ion Battery Passenger Vehicle Officially Unveiled
On February 5, Changan Automobile unveiled its global sodium-ion battery strategy, and the world's first mass-produced sodium-ion battery passenger vehicle was officially introduced. Test data shows that the vehicle equipped with CATL's sodium-ion battery delivers nearly three times the discharge power compared to conventional lithium iron phosphate vehicles with the same battery capacity under -30°C conditions. In extreme cold environments of -40°C, it maintains over 90% capacity retention, and it can still discharge stably even at the extreme low temperature of -50°C.
