All-new AITO M5 kicks off pre-orders

On April 17, AITO, the premium new energy vehicle brand jointly developed by Huawei and SERES, commenced pre-orders for the all-new AITO M5.

Beijing (Gasgoo)- On April 17, AITO, the premium new energy vehicle brand jointly developed by Huawei and SERES, commenced pre-orders for the all-new AITO M5. 

According to AITO, customers who place their orders before 3:00 PM on April 23 will enjoy a discount of 5,000 yuan by only paying a 2,000-deposit yuan, along with priority delivery. Simultaneously, the new model will officially hit the market at 2:30 PM on April 23.

Huawei’s Executive Director, CEO of the Consumer BG, Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Intelligent Automotive Solution BU, Yu Chengdong, announced on Weibo that the AITO M5, equipped with Huawei's advanced intelligent driving system ADS 2.0, which was unveiled a year ago, opened up competition of advanced intelligent driving. On April 23, the all-new AITO M5 will introduce comprehensive upgrades, promising consumers a brand-new experience of "superb aesthetics, superior performance, advanced intelligence, and enhanced safety."

The new M5 features several exterior design adjustments, including a new red exterior color, blacked-out emblem, and a sporty package with smoked dual five-spoke wheels complemented by red brake calipers, enhancing its sporty appeal.

The all-new AITO M5 adopts a closed-off front face design, replacing the original large grille with a smaller intake grille, giving the front end a more robust appearance. While interior and powertrain details are yet to be officially announced, it's expected that the new M5 will offer expanded cabin space and may come equipped with the base-edition visual-based HUAWEI ADS intelligent driving system.
