BYD-backed DENZA's Z9GT model leaked in patent images

Recently, a set of patent images the DENZA Z9GT model was released by China's MIIT.

Shanghai (Gasgoo)- Recently, a set of patent images of the DENZA Z9GT model was released by China's MIIT (Ministry of Industry and Information Technology). Positioned as a flagship model under DENZA, it is set to be sold both within and beyond the Chinese market.  

The new model will make its debut at the 2024 Beijing International Automotive Exhibition (Auto China 2024), which is set to commence on April 25.

According to the patent images released by China's MIIT, the DENZA Z9GT will feature a low-slung, shooting-brake-styled design. The headlights on the front face are notably slender, while the bottom front fascia is also quite eye-catching, enhancing the sporty appearance of the vehicle. It also comes with hidden door handles and low-resistance wheels.

The rear fascia and the top of the car have been extensively designed with aerodynamics in mind, aimed at enhancing acceleration capabilities and increasing the driving range.

In term of dimensions, the DENZA Z9GT measures 5,180mm long, 1,990mm wide and 1,500mm (or 1480) tall, with a wheelbase of 3,125mm. Its curb weight reaches 2,875kg. 

Besides, according to the MIIT's information, the new model will offer optional features such as front bumper LiDAR, roof-mounted LiDAR, side skirts, streaming-media exterior rearview mirrors, and carbon fiber decorations for front and rear fascias.

Under the hood, the DENZA Z9GT will be equipped with three electric motors with power outputs of 230kw, 240kw, and 240kw respectively, paired with batteries from Jinan FinDreams Battery.
