【The first national special environmental protection support policy for the integrated circuit industry has been issued】According to the Shanghai Municipal Ecology and Environment Bureau, the "Several Measures on Deepening the Reform of Environmental Impact Assessment and Pollutant Discharge Permit to Support the Development of the Integrated Circuit Industry" was recently issued. Based on the pollutant characteristics of the integrated circuit industry, key issues in the environmental impact assessment and pollutant discharge permit process for enterprises are targeted to tap into the potential for efficiency enhancement and burden reduction. This set of measures is the first attempt to serve relevant projects in the integrated circuit industry and will be officially implemented on April 30th. This is the first national special environmental protection support policy for the integrated circuit industry, introducing 8 innovative measures such as the "flexible" pollutant discharge permit, customized key industry list, and exemption from multiple environmental impact assessments for some research and development pilot projects.
