Beijing (Gasgoo)- MHERO, Dongfeng Motor's luxury electric off-roader brand, announced on April 15 that it will introduce a super-luxurious all-terrain extreme-performance vehicle tailored for global off-road enthusiasts at the upcoming Auto China 2024 in Beijing, named the MHERO M-HUNTER.

The MHERO M-HUNTER features oversized extreme off-road tires, boasting the largest wheel torque in China and the highest vertical obstacle clearance in the country. The vehicle is equipped with high-energy military-grade technology and utilizes expensive aerospace-grade carbon fiber materials, offering a rare customized collection for top players and social elites, the first of its kind in China and unique domestically.

It's worth noting that the MHERO M-HUNTER will be available for mass production, but its price may surpass the current price ceiling of China-made off-road vehicles, potentially making it the most expensive Chinese new energy off-road vehicle at this year's Auto China.

As for MHERO, it is a luxury electric off-road brand launched by Dongfeng Motor to cater to the growing demand of off-road enthusiasts, serving as a crucial support for Dongfeng's transformation into a technology-oriented enterprise.

Currently, MHERO only has one mass-produced model on the market, the MHERO 917, which has been delivered to consumers. The MHERO 917 recently made its debut in the European market, officially hitting the auto market of Switzerland.

World's First Mass-Produced Sodium-Ion Battery Passenger Vehicle Officially Unveiled
On February 5, Changan Automobile unveiled its global sodium-ion battery strategy, and the world's first mass-produced sodium-ion battery passenger vehicle was officially introduced. Test data shows that the vehicle equipped with CATL's sodium-ion battery delivers nearly three times the discharge power compared to conventional lithium iron phosphate vehicles with the same battery capacity under -30°C conditions. In extreme cold environments of -40°C, it maintains over 90% capacity retention, and it can still discharge stably even at the extreme low temperature of -50°C.
