Great Wall Motor, Tencent Music Entertainment team up on intelligent cockpit experience

Tencent Music Entertainment (TME) and Great Wall Motor (GMW) held a seminar on April 9, announcing the commencement of their strategic collaboration.

Shanghai (Gasgoo)- Tencent Music Entertainment (TME) and Great Wall Motor (GMW) held a seminar on April 9, announcing the commencement of their strategic collaboration.

TME awarded a "Pioneer Partner of AI Cabin" certificate to GWM. Both parties will focus on collaborating in AI audio technologies used in intelligent cockpits, leveraging TME's products to jointly create an innovative experience of in-cabin entertainment.

This partnership will tap into TME's technological strengths in audio technology as well as GWM's R&D prowess, collectively propelling the development of AI audio technology of intelligent cabin.

TME offers two main services: online music streaming and music-based social entertainment. With a widespread user base in China, TME boasts four prominent mobile music products in China, namely, QQ Music, Kugou Music, Kuwo Music and WeSing.

GWM positions itself as a global intelligent technology company engaged in the design, R&D, manufacturing, sales, and service of automobiles and auto components. Its brand portfolio includes Haval, WEY, ORA, TANK, and Great Wall Pickup.

At the seminar on April 9, the automaker expressed its commitment to the "user- oriented" approach in the future and aims to collaborate with TME to create proactive, scenario-based, and personalized in-cabin entertainment experiences.

GWM has been strengthening its cooperation with Internet industry players. Previously, it forged partnership with TikTok Group to develop the next generation of intelligent assistant.
