【SMM News】SMM April 11th news: According to SMM research, as of Thursday (April 11th), the total inventory of zinc ingots in seven SMM regions was 210,000 tons, an increase of 11,500 tons from April 3rd, and an increase of 1,500 tons from April 8th. Domestic inventory recorded an increase. Shanghai region inventory increased during the week, mainly due to the influx of imported zinc ingots into Shanghai warehouses, downstream cautious in purchasing due to high prices, resulting in a slight increase in inventory; Guangdong region inventory increased, with normal arrivals at warehouses during the week and an increase in point-of-sale purchases after the Qingming Festival. A large number of downstream purchases were followed by a sharp increase in zinc prices, resulting in a reduction in downstream purchases and a slight increase in inventory. Inventory in Tianjin region increased, mainly due to the higher offers from traders affecting warehouse arrivals, and downstream replenishment after the festival mainly caused an increase in inventory, with few purchases due to high prices. Overall, the inventory in the original three regions increased by 14,000 tons, and the total inventory in the seven regions increased by 15,000 tons.
