According to foreign media reports, an official from the Iranian Aluminum Industry Association stated that Iran's annual aluminum production will reach 1 million tons by March 2025.

Citing a statement from an Iranian official, Iran's actual annual aluminum production is currently at 700,000 tons, with an expected increase of 300,000 tons from South Aluminum Company (Salco).

He also mentioned that the vision goal for 2026 is to achieve an annual aluminum production of 1.5 million tons.

Iran's aluminum production is mainly carried out by four major producers: Iralco, Salco, al-Mahdi, and Alumina Iran.

According to data from the Iranian Organization for Mining and Mining Industry Development and Innovation, in the first 11 months of the year, Iran's major aluminum producers collectively produced a total of 582,200 tons of aluminum ingots.
