Dongfeng eπ unveils official images of eπ008 SUV

Beijing (Gasgoo)- China's new energy vehicle brand Dongfeng eπ revealed on March 8 the official images of its latest model, the eπ008 six-seater mid-size SUV. The new model is set to make its debut at the Auto China 2024 in Beijing on April 25. 

The exterior of the eπ008 adopts Dongfeng eπ's latest design language, exuding a clean and modern vibe. The distinctive front fascia with integrated headlights and grille enhances the visual width of the vehicle.

On the side, the eπ008 features a popular floating roof design, complemented by black window frames and dynamic multi-spoke wheels, adding a sporty touch. The new model boasts dimensions of 5,002mm in length, 1,972mm in width, 1,732mm in height, and a wheelbase of 3,025mm.

The rear design echoes the front, with integrated taillights and rear bumper, along with a roof spoiler and black paneling beneath the rear bumper, creating a visually striking effect.

In terms of powertrain, the new model will be available in battery electric and range-extended versions. The battery electric variant boasts a peak power of 200kW and a top speed of 180km/h, while the range-extended model is equipped with a 1.5L range extender with a maximum power of 108kW.

According to previous reports, the eπ008 SUV rides on the Dongfeng Quantum architecture, it features the Dongfeng Mach E powertrain and the Dongfeng SOA E/E architecture, with pre-sales planned to begin in the first half of this year.
