China Shipbuilding Firm Successfully Develops Solid-State Battery System for Rail Transit"
Recently, China Shipbuilding Group's subsidiary, China Power, successfully developed the first solid-state battery system for rail transportation engineering vehicles under its subsidiary, Sail Company. The battery system is mainly used for rail transit engineering vehicles, effectively playing a traction role in the daily maintenance, repair, and emergency breakdown situations of urban subway vehicles. The battery has a capacity of 420Ah and a nominal voltage of 819.2V, with high energy density and safety characteristics. The Sail solid-state battery system, replacing lead-acid batteries in rail transit engineering vehicles, marks a new breakthrough for the company in the field of new energy batteries, further expanding the market for lithium battery products.
