Beijing (Gasgoo)- DEEPAL, the new energy vehicle brand under Changan Automobile, saw a total of 13,048 vehicles delivered during March 2024, representing a 30.56% jump from the previous month.

In the first three months of this year, DEEPAL’s cumulative delivery volume came in at 40,084 units.

DEEPAL’s CEO Deng Chenghao reposted the delivery data on Weibo, stating, "The market is gradually recovering, but hasn't reached expectations yet. Let's continue to work hard in April!"

DEEPAL is actively strengthening its presence in the overseas market. On April 1, the Chinese new energy vehicle brand announced its entry into the Nepalese market via its official Weibo account, with the Nepalese ambassador present to witness the event.

Earlier on March 25, DEEPAL introduced the extended-range versions of the DEEPAL S07 and L07 models to the Thai market at the 45th Bangkok International Motor Show. Since its entry into the Thai market at the end of last year, DEEPAL has garnered widespread acclaim for its outstanding design and intelligent technology. As of February, the local cumulative delivery volume of the brand has exceeded 3,000 units, signaling its growing popularity in Thailand.

World's First Mass-Produced Sodium-Ion Battery Passenger Vehicle Officially Unveiled
On February 5, Changan Automobile unveiled its global sodium-ion battery strategy, and the world's first mass-produced sodium-ion battery passenger vehicle was officially introduced. Test data shows that the vehicle equipped with CATL's sodium-ion battery delivers nearly three times the discharge power compared to conventional lithium iron phosphate vehicles with the same battery capacity under -30°C conditions. In extreme cold environments of -40°C, it maintains over 90% capacity retention, and it can still discharge stably even at the extreme low temperature of -50°C.
