Shanghai (Gasgoo)- On March 26, the media day of the 45th Bangkok International Motor Show, Hyper, the premium sub-brand of GAC AION, held a launch event for the Hyper brand in Thailand with the pre-sale of the Hyper HT model kicking off in this country at the same time.

The Hyper brand showcased its key products, including the Hyper HT, Hyper SSR, and Hyper GT, at this year's Bangkok Motor Show. The launch of the Hyper HT's pre-sale signifies the official start of Hyper's journey in Thailand.

Hyper brand has already established a comprehensive set of capabilities across six global dimensions, encompassing R&D, intelligent manufacturing, supply chain, marketing services, organizational culture, and internationalization. Hyper remains committed to deepening its presence in Thailand, continuously enhancing its localization capabilities in research, production, and sales. It is anticipated that Phase 1 of GAC AION’s Thai factory project will be completed by July of this year, allowing Hyper to gradually introduce its products to meet the demands of the Thai market.

In terms of the charging infrastructure, Hyper plans to establish an exclusive charging network, covering a 15-kilometer radius in the Greater Bangkok area. This year, the company aims to construct 15 charging stations, with a long-term plan to expand to 100 fast-charging stations by 2028 in this region, ensuring hassle-free charging for users.

Furthermore, Hyper will collaborate with GAC R&D Center to establish an R&D office in Thailand in April, with the aim of accelerating localization in R&D efforts and promptly responding to market demands.
