Shanghai (Gasgoo)- On March 25, the all-electric BYD Seal model's Honor Edition hit the market, with an official price range of 179,800 yuan to 249,800 yuan. This latest addition to BYD's lineup is available in three range options, four power solutions, and five distinct trim levels, catering to a wide array of customer preferences and driving needs.

To celebrate the launch, BYD is offering a comprehensive package of exclusive benefits for customers who order the Seal Honor Edition by March 31. These benefits include financial subsidies, maintenance services, and data plans for the vehicle's infotainment system, among others.

The BYD Seal Honor Edition embodies BYD's new ocean-inspired design philosophy, drawing from natural elements like water droplets, ripples, and waves. This approach is evident in its dynamic front grille, angular LED lights, and sharply designed air vents that collectively contribute to its lively aesthetic.

The vehicle's side profile boasts a sleek, slightly sloped design, while the rear features trendy through-type tail lights with droplet-shaped main bodies, enhancing its modern and dynamic appearance.

Dimension-wise, the car measures 4,800mm in length, 1,875mm in width, and 1,460mm in height, with a wheelbase of 2,920mm. This size contributes to its spacious and comfortable interior, which continues the oceanic theme.

The central console, highlighted by a crystalline gear stick embedded within, forms the visual centerpiece alongside mechanical buttons, creating the "Heart of the Ocean" control hub. This hub integrates essential functions such as startup, power mode selection, driving mode selection, and controls for the air conditioning and audio system.

The BYD Seal Honor Edition is engineered with cutting-edge technologies like BYD's CTB (Cell to Body), iTAC (intelligent torque adaption control), and a choice between rear-wheel drive and all-wheel drive. The suspension system features a front double wishbone and a rear five-link independent setup, ensuring a blend of comfort and performance. Acceleration from 0-100 km/h can be as quick as 3.8 seconds, and the battery can be rapidly charged from 30% to 80% of its capacity in just 30 minutes.

Depending on the configuration, the new model offers three power versions with total motor powers of 150 kW, 170 kW, and 230 kW, and peak torques of 310 Nm, 330 Nm, and 360 Nm, respectively. Battery options include 61.4 kWh and 82.5 kWh, supporting CLTC ranges of 550 km, 650 km, and up to 700 km, addressing various user requirements for range and performance.
