Shanghai (Gasgoo)- On March 22, ZEEKR, a premium electric vehicle brand under China's Geely Auto, officially released the images of its fifth model, the ZEEKR MIX.

The ZEEKR MIX is set to feature the brand's latest design language and incorporates the STARGATE integrated smart light screen, alongside a novel approach to its door opening mechanism, signaling a fresh direction in vehicle functionality.

Adopting the minimalist "Hidden Energy" design language introduced with the ZEEKR 007, the new model presents a front design characterized by rounded lines and slim, technology-driven headlights. This aesthetic choice is complemented by a substantial black air intake, enhancing the vehicle's visual appeal and adding depth to its design profile.

The vehicle boasts an MPV-like body shape, with dimensions of 4,688mm in length, 1,995mm in width, and 1,755mm in height, and a wheelbase of 3,008mm, promising a spacious interior. Interest has been particularly piqued by the ZEEKR MIX's door opening mechanism, which remains under wraps but is speculated to feature a combination of traditional front and sliding rear door.

The rear design of the ZEEKR MIX is characterized by its simplicity, with a through-type light strip beneath the rear windscreen. The model is anticipated to offer 19-inch wheels as standard, with the option to upgrade to 20 inches on high-spec trims.

In terms of power, the ZEEKR MIX is set to feature an electric motor identified as TZ235XYC01, boasting a maximum power of 310kW. Two versions have been registered, with kerb weights of 2,739kg and 2,639kg, respectively, each powered by CATL's ternary lithium batteries. Battery capacity may vary between variants, suggesting a range of options for potential buyers.

World's First Mass-Produced Sodium-Ion Battery Passenger Vehicle Officially Unveiled
On February 5, Changan Automobile unveiled its global sodium-ion battery strategy, and the world's first mass-produced sodium-ion battery passenger vehicle was officially introduced. Test data shows that the vehicle equipped with CATL's sodium-ion battery delivers nearly three times the discharge power compared to conventional lithium iron phosphate vehicles with the same battery capacity under -30°C conditions. In extreme cold environments of -40°C, it maintains over 90% capacity retention, and it can still discharge stably even at the extreme low temperature of -50°C.
