Lead Intelligent Equipment has announced that on March 18, the company has officially signed a global strategic cooperation agreement with American battery manufacturer American Battery Factory (ABF).
Under the terms of the agreement, Lead Intelligent Equipment will provide ABF with a lithium battery intelligent production line service with a total target of 20GWh. It is reported that this is the largest order for lithium battery equipment that a Chinese enterprise has received in the United States to date.
According to the release, ABF is an American battery manufacturer specializing in the production of lithium iron phosphate (LFP) batteries, aiming to create the first domestically owned network of super battery factories in the United States. Its phase-one production line located in Tucson, Arizona, is expected to be completed and operational by 2025.
As part of the strategic cooperation, Lead Intelligent Equipment will become the sole equipment supplier for the first production line of ABF's super factory network project, providing a complete set of tailored intelligent and fully automated end-to-end solutions. By integrating key steps in the manufacturing process,
Lead Intelligent Equipment can perform customized battery product process design and validation for ABF, achieve full life cycle traceability of products, and support ABF in reaching its important goal of building a 20GWh lithium battery super factory, thereby laying a solid foundation for establishing the first LFP super factory network in the United States. Lead Intelligent Equipment states that to date, the company has supplied more than 120 complete production lines to global customers and provided solutions for over 2TWh of intelligent battery factories worldwide.
