The project covers an area of 690,000 square meters and includes the construction of facilities to produce 1,300 tons of carbon nanotubes per year, 485,000 tons of synthetic graphite per year, and 100,000 tons of synthetic graphite anode materials per year, with plans to complete construction and begin operations by the end of 2025.

Recently, the groundbreaking ceremony for the Dalian Graphite Valley Carbon Material Industrial New City project was held in the Songmudao Chemical Industrial Development Zone of the Jinpu New District. The project is invested in and constructed by Heilongjiang Graphite Valley Industrial Group Co., Ltd. in conjunction with BTR New Material Group Co., Ltd. This marks the commencement of the first phase of the project, with an investment of 6.16 billion yuan to construct the Graphite Valley Carbon Material Industrial New City project.

In addition, the second phase of the project is actively being promoted, with a planned investment of 1.5 billion yuan to construct a natural graphite anode project. Once both phases are completed and operational, the annual output value is expected to reach 8.7 billion yuan with annual tax revenues of about 650 million yuan, providing approximately 2,000 job opportunities.
