Shanghai (Gasgoo)- On March 13, BYD officially launched the e2 model's Honor Edition, introducing two variants priced at 89,800 and 96,800 yuan, respectively.

To sweeten the deal for early adopters, BYD is offering an array of incentives until March 31, including two years of zero-interest financing and complimentary cloud services, alongside trade-in subsidies and free data services for the vehicle. It's noteworthy that this model is available exclusively through BYD's Ocean sales network.

Design-wise, the BYD e2 Honor Edition embraces the Ocean Aesthetic design language, featuring a sleek, youthful look that draws elements from the sea. The front of the car showcases a modern closed-off grille adorned with the BYD logo, flanked by slimmer headlamps and a distinctive three-part air intake design that lends the car a fresh, vibrant appearance.

The silhouette of the e2 Honor Edition defines it as a hatchback, boasting a dynamic profile with smooth lines and clever waistline integration. Side skirts enhance the visual length, and decorative accents refine the vehicle's proportions, presenting a ready-to-pounce look.

At the rear, the new all-electric car model features a through-type taillight design and a trapezoidal license plate inset, all contributing to its dynamic aura.

The BYD e2 Honor Edition comes standard with more than twelve core features across the series, including the DiLink intelligent network system, smart voice interaction system, an 8.8-inch instrument panel, Blade Battery, child safety locks, intelligent dynamic braking system, heat pump air conditioning, mobile NFC car key, and fast charging capabilities. Additionally, depending on the configuration, there's an option between a 10.1-inch and a 12.8-inch adaptive rotating floating Pad.

Power-wise, the BYD e2 Honor Edition packs a 70 kW electric motor delivering 180 Nm of torque, ensuring a 405 km range under CLTC conditions and enabling a rapid recharge from 30% to 80% of its battery capacity within just 30 minutes. Moreover, the vehicle includes a VTOL mobile power station feature, capable of outputting 3.3kW, blending cutting-edge technology with practicality for the modern driver.
