Shanghai (Gasgoo)- Recently, Chinese leading new energy vehicle (NEV) maker BYD held a product launch event in Dubai, UAE, officially introducing three new energy vehicle models to the UAE market: the BYD SEAL, SONG PLUS, and QIN PLUS, according to a post on BYD's WeChat account. This move further strengthens BYD's brand image as a provider of comprehensive solutions that meet the diverse needs of local consumers.
Following the market introduction of the BYD HAN and Yuan PLUS (known overseas as the BYD ATTO 3) battery electric vehicle (BEV) models, BYD for the first time brought the SONG PLUS and QIN PLUS plug-in hybrid electric vehicle (PHEV) models to the UAE, spotlighting BYD's DM-i super hybrid technology and its reservoir of PHEV expertise. In addition, it also introduces BYD's inaugural sports electric sedan—the BYD SEAL to the UAE market.

To further engage the market, BYD orchestrated a two-day outdoor experience event from March 7 to 8 in Abu Dhabi, providing an extensive showcase of its five leading models. The initiative allowed locals and tourists to get behind the wheel of the BYD SEAL, SONG PLUS, QIN PLUS, HAN, and YUAN PLUS model at Masdar Park, offering a deep dive into their design philosophies and driving dynamics.
In 2023, BYD set a new record with annual NEV sales surpassing 3 million units, clinching the global new energy vehicle sales crown. BYD's NEVs now grace the roads in over 70 countries and regions, spanning more than 400 cities.
