【SMM Research: How is the supply of scrap batteries and the production situation of recycled lead smelters in mid-March?】SMM News on March 12: Starting from late January 2024, market losses have prompted recycled lead smelters to decrease production, and after returning from the Spring Festival in late February, many smelters that had stopped production did not resume, while those in production actively reduced scrap battery prices to lower costs. Currently, the supply of scrap batteries in the market is relatively normal, with traders indicating no significant increase in scrap volume, although agricultural activities are expected to increase with the arrival of spring.
