【Hengyang, Hunan plans to build a comprehensive recycling project for waste lithium batteries】Recently, the environmental impact assessment report of the project of recycling and utilizing 80,000 tons of waste lithium batteries and lithium battery waste (Phase I) by Hunan Zhongjing lithium Battery New Material Technology Co., Ltd. has been publicly displayed for acceptance. Construction content: The overall project is to process 80,000 tons of waste lithium batteries annually. This project is the first phase of the project, mainly for processing 40,000 tons/yr of waste power lithium battery packs, including 30,000 tons/yr of lithium iron phosphate battery pack and 10,000 tons/yr of ternary lithium battery pack, and at the same time, carrying out the secondary utilization of 25,000 tons/yr of waste power batteries. Among them, the scale of secondary utilization processing is 25,000 tons/yr of waste lithium iron phosphate battery pack. It is estimated that after the project is completed, it can achieve an annual production of 4,101 tons of battery-grade lithium carbonate, 7,215 tons of battery-grade nickel sulfate, 2,474 tons of battery-grade cobalt sulfate, and 1,560 tons of battery-grade manganese sulfate.
