NETA Auto to begin delivering NETA L vehicles in Apr. 2024

On March 7, NETA Auto's CEO, Zhang Yong, announced via his personal WeChat account that deliveries for the NETA L model would commence in April.

Shanghai (Gasgoo)- On March 7, NETA Auto's CEO, Zhang Yong, announced via his personal Weibo account that deliveries for the NETA L model would commence in April this year. While discussions on product configurations are ongoing, the company aims to provide users with enhanced options.

In the comment thread, Zhang Yong revealed that the company is considering equipping the NETA L REEV (range-extended electric vehicle) model with CATL's 40.27kWh battery pack, elevating the configuration to the maximum.

Riding on the Shanhai platform, the NETA L targets the large five-seater SUV market. It measures 4,770mm in length, 1,900mm in width, and 1,660mm in height, with a wheelbase of 2,810mm.

Regarding power, the pure electric version of the NETA L is equipped with a 170kW motor from Wuxi CRRC Times Electric Drive Technology Co., Ltd. The REEV version features the Chongqing Sokon Powertrain's H15R engine with a net power of 65kW and a displacement of 1,499ml.

Zhang Yong made an announcement on his personal Sina Weibo account on Jan. 17, revealing that CATL's ultra-long-life Shenxing battery's L series would debut on the NETA L model.

The NETA L appeared in the 378th batch of the "Announcement on Road Motor Vehicle Manufacturing Enterprises and Products" (“the Announcement”) by China's Ministry of Industry and Information Technology ("MIIT"). It offers both battery electric vehicle (BEV) and REEV with various color options.

In the 379th batch of the "Announcement" issued by the MIIT, the NETA L with the CATL's Shenxing battery is revealed as an REEV model.
