Shanghai (Gasgoo)-On March 6, SAIC-GM-Wuling officially put the Wuling Binguo PLUS model onto the market. The new model comes with two trim levels-- the 305km flagship edition and the 405km flagship edition, which are priced at 89,800 yuan and 98,800 yuan, respectively.
There are three color options offered by Wuling for the Binguo PLUS: Storm Gray, Aurora Green, and Quantum Black. Thanks to a steeply raked windshield, wind-blade-style front air curtains, aluminum alloy aerodynamic wheels, and anti-lift rear wing, coupled with a floating split-color roof, the vehicle's drag coefficient has been reduced by 13% compared to its predecessor.
On the inside, the Wuling Binguo PLUS boasts a minimalist interior design. The cabin features a 360-degree skin-friendly soft package design, with seats wrapped by faux suede that conforms to the body's curves. The driver's seat offers six-way power adjustment to accommodate various driving preferences.
Leveraging Wuling's in-house developed architecture dedicated to battery electric vehicles, the Wuling Binguo PLUS boasts a wheelbase of 2,610mm. It provides a generous second-row seat space of 912mm and a knee clearance of 89mm. The floating island-style design of the secondary dashboard increases front storage space, while the rear seats are folded down, it creates a convenient 1,450L cargo space for easier access to stored items.
Under the hood, the Wuling Binguo PLUS is powered by a 75kW three-in-one water-cooled flat-wire electric motor that delivers a maximum torque of 180N·m, accelerating from 0 to 50km/h in just 3.7 seconds. It offers three charging modes. Using the DC fast charging, the battery capacity can be charged from 30% to 80% in just 30-35 minutes.
The Wuling Binguo PLUS also features the Ling OS smart connectivity system, an 8.8-inch instrument cluster, a 10.1-inch adaptive rotatable screen, automatic windshield wipers/headlights, and a column-mounted gear shifter.
Besides, the model has four airbags for the driver and front passenger seats, ESC (electronic stability control) system, automatic parking, ABS (anti-lock braking system), and hill start assist system.
