On the afternoon of March 4th, the Jinan Municipal Government Information Office held the first session of the themed press conference titled "Vigorously Deepening Project Construction and Promoting High-Quality Development in an All-Round Way", where they introduced relevant information regarding the deepening of project service guarantee to promote green, low-carbon, and high-quality development.
It was learned that in 2024, the Development and Reform Commission of the city will conscientiously implement the deployment arrangements of the "Project Deepening Year" throughout various business areas and work lines, comprehensively implement engineering and project-based promotion measures, construct a service system for the full life cycle of key projects, enhance the support and driving role of expanding domestic demand for economic development, promote the upgrading of industrial capabilities, optimization of regional functions, and the elevation of urban status, and accelerate green, low-carbon, and high-quality development. Efforts will be made to advance the construction of projects such as "Long-Distance Electricity Transmission to Shandong", two sets of 660,000-kilowatt ultra-supercritical coal-fired units, and to establish a "one network, multiple sources" heating pattern. Acceleration will be made in the construction of the "Liaohe Heat Supply to Jinan" project, ensuring the completion of the "Shihe Heat Supply to Jinan" project before the heating season, with a total heating capacity of 39 million square meters. Efforts will be made to promote the completion and grid connection of three provincial new energy storage projects, including the Queshan Energy Storage Power Station, and to commence the construction of the 345,000-kilowatt centralized wind power project in Jiyang District. The city aims to achieve a renewable energy installed capacity of 4.8 million kilowatts, an increase of over 19%, and a new energy storage installed capacity of 600,000 kilowatts, an increase of over 45%.
