Shanghai (Gasgoo)- On February 29, BYD officially put the Honor Editions of the Song PLUS and Seal DM-i onto the market. This new product release marks the addition of two more "Honor Edition" models to BYD's Ocean range, closely following the launch of the Honor Editions of the Destroyer 05 and the Dolphin earlier this month.
Continuing its dedication to diverse consumer preferences, the Song PLUS DM-i Honor Edition now adds a 71km variant, totaling 5 trim levels with prices ranging from 129,800 yuan to 169,800 yuan.
The Song PLUS EV Honor Edition comes with 4 variants priced between 149,800 yuan and 189,800 yuan.
The BYD Seal DM-i Honor Edition is available in 6 models, priced from 149,800 yuan to 219,800 yuan. Meanwhile, the 1.5L 121KM Elite and 1.5L 121KM Luxury trims have undergone multiple enhancements.
Compared to the previous Champion Edition, the Song PLUS DM-i Honor Edition newly greets the 71KM Luxury variant. It adds such amenities as a 12.3-inch full LCD instrument panel, mobile NFC digital key, 6 safety airbags, and an 18kW DC fast to its standard equipment list.
BYD said the Seal DM-i Honor Edition truly achieves high-level configurations from its entry models, blending additional enhancements with reduced pricing. Both the 1.5L 121KM Elite and 1.5L 121KM Luxury trims now offer an optional light gray interior, along with several upgrades. The 1.5L 121KM Elite variant introduces a 360° panoramic camera and an upgraded 15.6-inch adaptive rotating floating PAD for enhanced intelligence. The 1.5L 121KM Luxury trim adds the ACC+AEB+ELKA advanced driver assistance suite, along with ventilated and heated front seats, and a 50W wireless phone charging feature.
