






The Italian enterprises along with the Minister of 'Made in Italy', Adolfo Urso, stated on February 28th that Italy is negotiating with several car manufacturers, aiming to encourage these companies to produce in the country. Urso mentioned that Italy has received positive feedback from carmakers including Tesla, but remains cautious about the outcomes of the negotiations. Aston Martin Expects to Launch Its First All-Electric Car in 2026, Delaying the Previous Plan by a Year. Aston Martin stated on the 28th that it now expects to introduce its first all-electric car in 2026, which is a year later than the previously planned 2025.
Aston Martin committed in June last year to invest about 2 billion British pounds over the next five years to drive an electrification transformation. Renault CEO Urges EU and National Governments to Promote Collaboration Between Energy Suppliers and Carmakers.
The CEO of Renault, Luca de Meo, mentioned on the 27th that the majority of car manufacturers in Europe have room for collaboration, particularly at the upstream of the electric vehicle value chain such as in mineral extraction and production. Luca de Meo also urged the European Union and national governments to drive cooperation between energy suppliers and car manufacturers, helping to accelerate the deployment of charging infrastructure, and to utilize electric vehicles for energy storage within the power grid.
