Shanghai (Gasgoo)- As the much-anticipated debut of Li Auto's inaugural all-electric model, the Li MEGA, approaches on March 1, the company recently released interior images showcasing the meticulous design of its seating arrangement. The seven-seater MPV model promises to blend elegance with innovation, with further details set to be unveiled during its official launch.

Within the interior layout, the Li MEGA adopts a seven-seat design, presenting a front-row aesthetic similar to its existing L-series models, featuring a through-type central touchscreen design. However, innovative touches include a dual-layer design in the central console area, accompanied by adjustments to the air vent styling. Notably, the front seats are equipped with dual 50W wireless charging panels beneath, providing passengers with convenient charging experiences.

Moving to the second-row seating, the Li MEGA maintains a relentless focus on comfort and functionality. The independent seat design incorporates features such as integrated heated leg rests, adjustable 95-degree reclining angles, and 500mm front-back electric adjustments. Additionally, the seats come with 50W wireless charging panels, allowing passengers to charge their smartphones and other devices at any time.

The seats boast a width of 532mm for the cushions and a 115mm armrest width, using perforated Nappa leather to elevate the luxurious quality. Impressively, the seats feature a sixteen-point massage function, with six points on the seat cushion and ten on the backrest, ensuring an ultimate comfort experience. The heating function employs a novel 270° wrap-around design, offering warmth even in chilly weather.

Space utilization in the Li MEGA is commendable, with the luggage compartment's longitudinal length reaching 680mm, satisfying daily storage needs. The third-row seats exhibit ingenuity, allowing for forward folding to expand space or complete folding to create a more spacious storage area. When the third-row seats are folded and flipped, the luggage compartment's longitudinal depth can reach 1,066mm, providing ample storage for extended journeys.

Being an all-electric model, the Li MEGA showcases impressive power performance as well. Built on an 800V platform, the vehicle's electric motor achieves an maximum power of 400kW and a peak torque of 542N·m, enabling a swift acceleration from 0 to 100 km/h in just 5.5 seconds. Moreover, the Li MEGA is equipped with CATL's 5C Qilin battery, featuring a high energy density of 170Wh/kg and supporting rapid charging technology that can replenish 500km of range in just 12 minutes.

World's First Mass-Produced Sodium-Ion Battery Passenger Vehicle Officially Unveiled
On February 5, Changan Automobile unveiled its global sodium-ion battery strategy, and the world's first mass-produced sodium-ion battery passenger vehicle was officially introduced. Test data shows that the vehicle equipped with CATL's sodium-ion battery delivers nearly three times the discharge power compared to conventional lithium iron phosphate vehicles with the same battery capacity under -30°C conditions. In extreme cold environments of -40°C, it maintains over 90% capacity retention, and it can still discharge stably even at the extreme low temperature of -50°C.
