Beijing (Gasgoo)- Recently, global mobility technology company ECARX announced the successful integration of its cross-domain software platform, ECARX Cloudpeak, into the Volvo pure electric SUV EX30, marking its global production and delivery milestone.

Developed by ECARX's global R&D team in collaboration with HaleyTek, a joint venture between ECARX and Volvo Cars in Gothenburg, Sweden, ECARX Cloudpeak is an open, flexible, and modular software platform.

It aims to provide a smart base for vehicle brands worldwide, supporting the development of cutting-edge entertainment information systems and advanced driver assistance systems (ADAS). The Volvo EX30 pure electric SUV becomes the first production model applied with this software platform, marking the successful realization of the software-defined vehicle concept of ECARX Cloudpeak.

The Volvo EX30 is Volvo's latest pure electric SUV. In its intelligent cockpit, ECARX Cloudpeak enriches it with various intelligent features, offering users easy access to Google Maps navigation, Google Assistant, and a plethora of applications from the Google Play Store through Google Automotive Services (GAS). As a complement to the application ecosystem, ECARX Cloudpeak also provides an outstanding in-car connectivity experience for the EX30, including Android Auto and Apple Carplay. Notably, ECARX Cloudpeak communicates with the EX30's full suite of ADAS, presenting information processed from sensors such as radar and cameras directly onto the driver's instrument display, maximizing forward visibility and reducing anxiety and safety hazards caused by diverted attention.

[SMM Daily Review: Spot Lithium Carbonate Prices Dropped Slightly on March 6] The SMM battery-grade lithium carbonate index price dropped slightly from the previous working day. Futures performance showed that the most-traded contract fluctuated within the range of 151,100-160,900 yuan/mt throughout the day, and open interest increased by about 1,500 lots from the previous trading day. In terms of actual transactions, upstream lithium chemical plants remained weak in their willingness to sell spot orders, with strong sentiment to hold back sales and hold prices firm. Most downstream enterprises took a cautious purchasing stance, mainly staying on the sidelines. A small number of material plants bought the dip when prices were relatively low. Overall, although market inquiries increased, actual transactions remained somewhat sluggish.
