Beijing (Gasgoo)- On February 21, DAISCH, the Chinese developer of automotive high-precision inertial navigation systems, announced the successful completion of its Series A+ funding round, which raised for the company tens of millions of yuan.

Guochen Venture Capital led the investment, with Fortune Capital participating. The funds raised will be allocated towards developing specialized research and design, establishing international manufacturing standards, and iterating intelligent manufacturing technologies, positioning DAISCH to excel in the vast field of autonomous driving and lead the high-precision positioning industry.

Since its establishment in 2015, DAISCH has built a full-stack product matrix, ranging from vehicle inertial navigation units (IMU) and combination navigation modules (P-BOX) to high-end advanced driving assistant system (ADAS) testing equipment. DAISCH has developed leading IMU module products that are compact, high-performance, and cost-effective.

DAISCH said that its proprietary full-temperature full-speed calibration process has boosted hardware performance by over 10 times. The team's unique automated equipment R&D capabilities have incubated a fully automated fourth-generation mass production process line, doubling production efficiency while saving 30% in production costs.

With a wide customer base in autonomous driving scenarios and ADAS ground truth testing, DAISCH has secured intentions for project partnerships from over a dozen well-known automakers and Tier 1 suppliers.

In 2023, it achieved mass production and delivery of P-BOX products for a leading automaker’s flagship vehicle model. In 2024, with ample orders and the addition of multiple projects from well-known domestic and international vehicle manufacturers, DAISCH further solidifies its position in the high-precision navigation market.

World's First Mass-Produced Sodium-Ion Battery Passenger Vehicle Officially Unveiled
On February 5, Changan Automobile unveiled its global sodium-ion battery strategy, and the world's first mass-produced sodium-ion battery passenger vehicle was officially introduced. Test data shows that the vehicle equipped with CATL's sodium-ion battery delivers nearly three times the discharge power compared to conventional lithium iron phosphate vehicles with the same battery capacity under -30°C conditions. In extreme cold environments of -40°C, it maintains over 90% capacity retention, and it can still discharge stably even at the extreme low temperature of -50°C.
