TANK 700 Hi4-T to hit market on Feb. 26

Great Wall Motor's TANK brand officially announced that the TANK 700 Hi4-T off-roader will hit the market on February 26.

Beijing (Gasgoo)- Great Wall Motor's TANK brand officially announced that the TANK 700 Hi4-T off-roader will hit the market on February 26. 

The vehicle, available for pre-sale since January 30, comes in two variants with pre-sale prices ranging from 468,000 yuan to 508,000 yuan. Additionally, a limited-edition debut version is available for pre-sale at 700,000 yuan.

Positioned as a mid-to-large-sized SUV, the TANK 700 Hi4-T boasts hardcore off-road features, including three differential locks. It is powered by a plug-in hybrid electric system comprising a 3.0-liter engine and a P2 motor, delivering a combined output of 385 kW and an NEDC-rated battery-power-only range of 100km.

In terms of design, the TANK 700 Hi4-T adopts a futuristic armored style, featuring a large bumper that divides the front face into upper and lower sections, complemented by angular headlights for a rugged appearance. 

With dimensions of 5,090mm in length, 2,061mm in width, 1,952mm in height, and a wheelbase of 3,000mm, it offers impressive approach and departure angles of 37.8 and 37.6 degrees, respectively, along with a maximum wading depth of 970mm. 

Inside, the vehicle boasts a straightforward layout with soft-touch materials and silver trim, exuding a sense of sophistication. It comes equipped with a fully digital instrument cluster, a floating touchscreen infotainment display, and HUD (head-up display). Other features include ventilated, heated, and massage functions for both front and rear seats, with the rear seats offering a recline angle of up to 141°.

Powering the TANK 700 Hi4-T is a plug-in hybrid electric system mated to a 9-speed hybrid-specific transmission. Additionally, the vehicle offers a multi-mode all-terrain system with various driving modes to tackle different road conditions effectively.
