Shanghai (Gasgoo)- On February 19, the BYD Qin PLUS, one of the hotter-selling models under BYD's Dynasty series, saw its Honor edition go on sale. Featuring five trim levels for both the DM-i and EV versions, the new product is priced between 79,800 yuan and 139,800 yuan.

Notably, compared to the existing Champion edition, the Honor edition introduces the White Celadon exterior color option, upgraded continuous voice calling functionality, and the intelligent power-on/-off feature across the entire range.

The car adopts a larger "Dragon Mouth" front grille and internal "Dragon Armor" elements, creating a powerful sensory impact. The robust, downward-pressed front end, combined with four three-dimensional lines on the hood, produces a striking visual effect. It's worth mentioning that there are distinctions in the front grille design between the EV and DM-i models, enhancing model recognition.

Featuring a through-type taillight design with smoked outer casings and LED light sources, the vehicle showcases the newly designed "Build Your Dreams" emblem above the taillights.

The Qin PLUS DM-i Honor Edition is equipped with a DM-i plug-in hybrid electric system, consisting of a 1.5L engine and a permanent magnet synchronous drive motor. The engine delivers a maximum power of 81 kW and a peak torque of 135 N·m. The drive motor is available in two power versions, with maximum powers of 132 kW and 145 kW, and peak torques of 316 N·m and 325 N·m, respectively. The model will be equipped with the DM-i Super Hybrid-specific power-type blade battery pack, offering a NEDC ranges of 55km and 120km on battery power alone.

The Qin PLUS EV Honor Edition version features a permanent magnet synchronous drive motor with a maximum power of 100 kW and peak torque of 180 N·m. Depending on specific configurations, the EV models will be equipped with either a 48 kWh or a 57.6 kWh battery pack, providing corresponding ranges of 420 km and 510 km.
