Ningbo Rongbai New Energy Technology Co., Ltd. provides a method for recycling positive electrode materials, including the following steps:
1) Mixing lithium iron phosphate powder with deionized water to form a slurry, adjusting the pH of the slurry to 3-5 with phosphate, and obtaining a mixture;
2) Adding Fenton reagent to the mixture, filtering, and obtaining the first filtrate and the first filter residue;
3) Refining the first filter residue, including iron valence transformation treatment, to obtain iron phosphate with a purity of >99.5%.
The addition of Fenton reagent in the positive electrode material recycling method can oxidize ferrous ions into ferric ions, which combine with phosphate to form iron phosphate precipitation. Through the processes of aluminum removal, non-melting slag removal, iron valence transformation treatment, and sintering, interference from other impurities is avoided, resulting in higher purity of iron phosphate.
