Aluminum prices slightly increased and processing fees remained relatively stable, with fewer downstream purchasing due to CNY holidays

Today, the price of SMM A00 aluminum increased by 40 yuan/mt, and was reported at 18,770 yuan/mt.

Today, the price of SMM A00 aluminum increased by 40 yuan/mt, and was reported at 18,770 yuan/mt. Foshan A00 aluminum price was reported at 18,780 yuan/mt, up by 10 yuan/mt. The base price of aluminum rose slightly, the processing fee for aluminum billets was relatively stable amid strong CNY holiday atmosphere. The downstream buyers purchased less goods during the holiday, and the overall transaction was slack. Near noon, the transaction price of Φ120Φ178 aluminum billets processing fee in south China was around 190 yuan/mt, and the processing fee of Φ90 rod was 260 yuan/mt, which was the same as the previous working day.

In east China market, Wuxi market transactions were sluggish. Near noon, the processing fee for Φ120 aluminum billets was 250 yuan/mt, and the processing fee for Φ90 small billets was 350 yuan/mt, a decrease of 30 yuan/mt compared with the previous working day. The market in Nanchang area was sluggish, with the processing fee for Φ120 billets quoted at 240 yuan/mt and the processing fee for Φ90 billets at 290 yuan/mt. The average price of processing fees in Linyi, Shandong this week is the same as last week, and the average weekly price of Φ120 aluminum billets is around 290 yuan/mt.
