On February 6th, the main contract for lithium carbonate 2407 futures fell by 3.38%. According to data, the main contract for lithium carbonate 2407 opened at 100,450 yuan/ton and closed at 97,150 yuan/ton with a trading volume of 110,907 lots and an open interest of 142,239 lots, an increase of 9,256 lots compared to the previous trading day. SMM's spot price for battery-grade lithium carbonate on the same day was 94,300-99,800 yuan/ton with an average price of 97,050 yuan/ton, remaining unchanged from the previous working day. In terms of trends, the price of lithium carbonate on the day opened with a slight decline, then ran below the daily average line, and saw a slight rebound at the end of the day. After a brief consolidation in the midday session, the main contract saw a sharp decline, ending with a 3.38% decrease.
