SHANGHAI, Feb 6 (SMM) -

Polysilicon: The mainstream prices of recharging polysilicon and dense polysilicon were 60-63 yuan/kg and 56-60 yuan/kg respectively. The polysilicon price index stood at 56.20 yuan/kg.

Supply and demand: With the completion of the new round of order signing, polysilicon prices were basically stable. Currently, the polysilicon trade has gradually stopped approaching the Chinese New Year. The market is mostly waiting to see the market changes after the Chinese New Year. The price before the holiday remains stable for the time being.

Module

In yesterday's market, the mainstream transaction price of bifacial-182mm monocrystalline PERC modules was 0.93 yuan/w, and the mainstream transaction price of bifacial-210mm monocrystalline PERC modules was 0.95 yuan/w.

Supply and demand: module prices were generally stable, and bid prices remained low. In February, many module companies showed a clear attitude towards reducing production. Market transactions gradually stopped before the Chinese New Year, and upstream and downstream business personnel generally took holidays, so prices were temporarily stable.

PV film

price

PV-grade EVA: The current trading price of domestic PV-grade EVA is around 11,000-11,100 yuan/ton, and the price remains stable. Actual transaction prices remained stable.

PV film : The current mainstream price of 420g transparent EVA film is 6.72-6.93 yuan/square meter, the price of 420g white EVA film is 6.26-6.47 yuan/square meter, the price of 380g EPE film is 7.56-7.94 yuan/square meter, and the price of 460g POE film is 13.34-13.80 yuan/square meter. Prices are less likely to change before the Chinese New Year.

Supply and Demand

PV-grade EVA: Before the Chinese New Year, some manufacturers will stop producing photovoltaic grade EVA and switch to produce foaming.

film: At present, the film factories are gradually going on holiday, and the market demand for LECO technology continues. module manufacturers remain optimistic about new technologies.

Inverters

Price: This week, the price of 20 kw grid-connected inverters was 0.15-0.19 yuan/W, the price of 50kw was 0.14-0.18 yuan/W, and the price of 110kw was 0.12-0.17 yuan/W.

Supply and demand: There is no overall change in the inverter price range, and the overall price remains stable. Before Chinese New Year holiday, various companies have closed one after another according to their own orders and production line production arrangements. Downstream procurement and delivery demand has been suspended, and prices have remained stable.

[SMM PV News] United Solar Starts Polysilicon Production in Oman
Omani manufacturer United Solar Holding has commenced production at its polysilicon facility in the Sohar Freezone, targeting an annual capacity of 100,000 metric tons, which enough to support 40 GW of solar modules. The milestone follows the closure of a massive debt financing package in mid-January totaling over $900 million, split between a $480 million facility led by the International Finance Corporation (IFC) and over $400 million from local commercial banks. The project's largest shareholder, Future Fund Oman, has increased its stake to approximately $260 million.

[SMM PV News] Italy Adds 6.4 GW Solar in 2025 as Utility-Scale Boom
Italy deployed 6,437 MW of new photovoltaic capacity in 2025, a 5% decrease from the 6.8 GW added in 2024, bringing the country's cumulative total to 43.5 GW. The overall decline was driven by a sharp 24% contraction in the residential sector and a slowdown in commercial installations. However, the utility-scale segment surged by 15%, connecting 3.4 GW of new capacity largely due to a wave of previously issued authorizations. This growth was heavily backloaded, with the final quarter alone accounting for 2.4 GW of the year's total, fueled significantly by projects larger than 10 MW.

[SMM PV News] India SECI Auctions 1.2 GW Renewable-Storage Projects
The Solar Energy Corporation of India (SECI) has concluded its auction for 1.2 GW of renewable energy capacity paired with energy storage, designed to supply 4.8 GWh of peak power daily. Adyant Enersol secured the lowest tariff of INR 6.27/kWh for 100 MW. Serentica Renewables (600 MW) and AMPIN Energy (199 MW) followed closely with bids of INR 6.28/kWh, while ACME Solar was awarded the remaining capacity (approximately 301 MW). These projects will be developed on a build-own-operate basis under 25-year Power Purchase Agreements (PPAs), requiring developers to co-locate generation and storage systems and connect them to the interstate transmission network.
