SHFE 2403 tin contract fell to 207,470 yuan/mt overnight, down 2.31%.

Yesterday, spot premiums and discounts in domestic spot market for various tin ingot brands were as below. Small brand tin ingots were offered at discounts of 0-500 yuan/mt against SHFE 2403 tin contract, versus discounts of 200 yuan/mt to premiums of 600 yuan/mt for delivery brands, premiums of 300-800 yuan/mt for Yunxi brand, and discounts of 500-1,000 yuan/mt for imported brand tin ingots. Yesterday, tin prices continued to fall. With CNY drawing near, downstream purchasing basically ended and traders also took CNY holidays.

Tibet Summit Resources Reports Stable Operations and Increased Production at Tazhong Mining in 2026 Interim Report
On August 19, Tibet Summit Resources released its 2026 interim report. During the reporting period, operations at Tajikistan-based Tazhong Mining remained generally stable. The company completed 2.096 million tonnes of mining output, 1.647 million tonnes of ore output, and 1.647 million tonnes of ore processing, representing YoY increases of 15.53%, 9.99%, and 8.36%, respectively. Total contained metal production of lead, zinc, copper and silver reached 56,800 tonnes. The company also produced 4,361 tonnes of crude lead, 45.77 tonnes of copper matte, and 1,275 tonnes of electrolytic lead.

Jinhui Mining Reports Increased Zinc Output, Decline in Lead and Silver Production in H1 2026
On August 7, Jinhui Mining released its 2026 interim report. The company produced 37,000 tonnes of zinc concentrate in January-June 2026, up 11.79% YoY, while lead concentrate production decreased 1.89% YoY to 10,600 tonnes. Associated silver production declined 1.93% YoY to 13.9 tonnes. In addition, construction of the Jiangluo mining area's 3 million tpy lead-zinc ore beneficiation project is underway, with RMB 170 million invested during the reporting period. Of this, the Xiejia'gou 1.5 million tpy concentrator project has received a cumulative investment of RMB 866 million, funded by raised capital and internal funds. Construction progress has reached 77%, but the project has not yet completed acceptance inspection or commenced production and operations, and therefore has generated no
