Shanghai (Gasgoo)- In late January, a convoy of 20 units of the 7X-E model, the smart electric MPV from China's Haima Automobile, boarded transport trucks at the Hainan Yangpu Port, poised to set sail for Hai Phong Port in Vietnam. Following container loading and customs clearance, this fleet will traverse the seas on a large vessel, marking the maiden export of Haima electric vehicles to Vietnam and the first bulk departure of locally produced new energy vehicles from Hainan to international markets.

Haima Automobile established ties with Carvivu in Vietnam in 2022, culminating in a collaborative agreement in early 2023. After nearly a year of meticulous preparation and strategic planning, the grand unveiling ceremony of Haima's 7X and 7X-E models took place in Hanoi on December 17, 2023, officially marking their entry into the Vietnamese market.

The Haima 7X-E, the first locally developed new energy MPV electric vehicle in Hainan, boasts a 2+2+3 seating layout, providing ample space and versatility. Leveraging high-energy-density ternary lithium batteries from CATL, the 7X-E achieves an impressive range of 510 kilometers. Additionally, the vehicle features an efficient three-in-one flat-wire electric drive system, achieving a peak efficiency of 97%.

To meet the diverse needs of the Vietnamese market, the export version of the 7X-E, equipped with European standard charging ports, aligns seamlessly with Vietnam's charging infrastructure, promising a more user-friendly experience for Vietnamese consumers.

World's First Mass-Produced Sodium-Ion Battery Passenger Vehicle Officially Unveiled
On February 5, Changan Automobile unveiled its global sodium-ion battery strategy, and the world's first mass-produced sodium-ion battery passenger vehicle was officially introduced. Test data shows that the vehicle equipped with CATL's sodium-ion battery delivers nearly three times the discharge power compared to conventional lithium iron phosphate vehicles with the same battery capacity under -30°C conditions. In extreme cold environments of -40°C, it maintains over 90% capacity retention, and it can still discharge stably even at the extreme low temperature of -50°C.
