【SMM Analysis: Accumulated lead concentrate imports increase by 15% year-on-year in 2023 but still unable to alleviate domestic lead ore shortage】According to customs data, the accumulated import of lead concentrate in 2023 reached 1.1861 million metric tons, showing a year-on-year increase of 15.12%. However, compared to previous years' import opening periods, it remains at a historically low level. The increased accumulated import volume of lead concentrate in 2023, along with a slight rise in lead concentrate production, is unable to alleviate the tight supply of raw materials for domestic lead smelters.
