Beijing (Gasgoo)- NETA Auto recently rolled out the first Over-the-Air (OTA) update in 2024 for the NETA S model, introducing the all-new NETA highway navigation assistance system (NNP), which is supported by SenseAuto, the automotive intelligence division of SenseTime.

NETA Auto’s NNP is based on SenseAuto’s LiDAR-free highway intelligent driving solution. The application on the NETA S marks the first mass production implementation of SenseAuto’s intelligent driving technology.

The solution utilizes SenseAuto's 16 TOPS computing power domain control platform and 5R11V sensor configuration. This implementation encompasses various functionalities, including traditional Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS) and L2+ navigation pilot for urban expressways.

Key features of the NNP include Front Cross Traffic Alert (FCTA), Rear Cross Traffic Alert (RCTA), Blind Spot Detection (BSD), Door Opening Warning (DOW), Adaptive Cruise Control (ACC), Lane Keeping Assist (LKA), and Traffic Jam Assist (TJA).

As of June 2023, SenseAuto has collaborated with over 30 Chinese and international automakers, delivering more than 60 production models and installing its technology in over 36 million vehicles, including partnerships with Honda, Great Wall Motor, GAC Group, ZEEKR, NETA Auto, Chery, SAIC Motor, and NIO.

World's First Mass-Produced Sodium-Ion Battery Passenger Vehicle Officially Unveiled
On February 5, Changan Automobile unveiled its global sodium-ion battery strategy, and the world's first mass-produced sodium-ion battery passenger vehicle was officially introduced. Test data shows that the vehicle equipped with CATL's sodium-ion battery delivers nearly three times the discharge power compared to conventional lithium iron phosphate vehicles with the same battery capacity under -30°C conditions. In extreme cold environments of -40°C, it maintains over 90% capacity retention, and it can still discharge stably even at the extreme low temperature of -50°C.
