SMM Hot Rolled Coil Inventory Check: Terminal Transactions Further Decline, Significant Accumulation in Social Inventory

This week, SMM conducted a survey of the national 69 warehouses (large sample) and found that the social inventory of hot rolled coil reached 3.4851 million tons, an increase of 21.91 million tons compared to last week, with a growth rate of 6.71%. The warehouses have entered a pre-holiday accumulation rhythm.

This week, the terminal pre-holiday stocking has basically come to an end, with some traders starting to take breaks one after another. As a result, market transactions further declined, and social warehouses officially began the pre-holiday accumulation, with the accumulation rhythm slightly slower than in previous years.
